THE DC CHAPTER IS GOING TO ROME

June 2-7, 2018

17 Washington, D.C. Patrons have signed up to attend the 2018 Chapter Trip to Rome traveling with a few others from Pennsylvania and Belgium.

Highlights will be Opening Mass in the Pantheon, followed by a reception on the rooftop terrace of the Grand Minerva Hotel.

Lunch on the roof top of the Forum Hotel providing a sweeping vista of Ancient Rome, followed by a walking tour to the Gesú Church and more.

A day at the Vatican Museums, with a behind-the-scenes tour and a private lunch in a memorable location.

A day at Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence, with a tour of the residence and beautiful gardens where we will have a farm lunch provided by the Pope’s farm.

The Papal Audience with VIP seating followed by a lunch at Scarpone, a traditional Italian restaurant with a vine covered terrace.   

Concluding with a black tie dinner on Thursday night in the Museums, after having time in the Sistine Chapel for just the 23 of us.
